Orcaboard™ Recycled Plastic Lumber is a solid profile material with colorants and UV inhibitors throughout. Made using High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) from recycled milk jugs, Orcaboard™ is extremely durable, tougher than wood, non-toxic and maintenance free. Orcaboard™ is unaffected by saltwater, rot and insects, will not fade, check, split, or splinter, is easy to work with using standard tools and fasteners and comes with a 50 year limited warranty. Permanent UV stabilized colors eliminates the need for painting, staining, waterproofing, stripping and resurfacing. Orcaboard™ is also resistant to paint, ink, mildew, and other contaminants which may be removed using mild cleaners.

Metal Structural Components
All metal structural components are drilled and formed for quick assembly. All steel conforms to ASTM A36 hot rolled steel. Following fabrication, all metal components are cleaned and treated with a five stage iron phosphate process prior to the coating application. This process includes a non-chromated alkaline cleaner and an iron phosphate treatment followed with an acidic sealer for maximum adhesion. The protective powder coatings are either polyester or TGIC powder applied by the dry electrostatic process to 3 to 4 mils thick on all surfaces. Following application, the parts are baked at 350 to 400 degrees F. and maintained at temperature until properly cured. Hot dip galvanized 3 to 4 mils thick to a standard ASTM A123 is an alternate to powder coating.
